If sale or distribution occurs within 1,000 feet of a school or park, the penalties are even more severe.
Florida Criminal Code §893.13, .09, .13 and 775.082 stipulates that marijuana is still classified as an illegal drug in the State of Florida, and anyone caught with any amount of it will face a criminal charge. This is backed by the United States federal government, as they still consider it to be an illegal drug as well.
